Unveiling the New Look of Red River Software
A New Look, Shaped by Where We Started
Today we’re unveiling a refreshed look for Red River Software, including a new logo and updated brand that we’re proud to share with you. And while the look is new, the story behind it is as old as the company itself.
Where Our Name Comes From
Red River Software was founded in 1978 in Fargo, North Dakota. We took our name from the Red River, which winds its way right through the heart of Fargo. For more than four decades, that river has been part of our identity: a steady, familiar presence, the same way we’ve tried to be for the businesses we serve.
A Logo Drawn from the Real Thing
When we set out to update our brand, we didn’t want to invent something disconnected from who we are. So we went back to the source, literally. The lines in our new logo are drawn from the actual shape of the Red River as it curves through Fargo. It’s a small detail, but it means a lot to us: a direct callback to our roots, carried into everything we do next.
What hasn’t changed
A new logo doesn’t change what we care about. Our commitment to providing excellent customer service is as strong as it has ever been. The people you call, the support you rely on, and the relationships we’ve built over the years are not going anywhere.
Something else that isn’t going anywhere: us. We know consolidation is a fact of life in our industry, and we’ve watched trusted names get absorbed by their competitors. That’s not our path. Red River Software will never be sold to our competitors. We intend to keep serving our customers on our own terms, the way we have since 1978.
What’s ahead
This refresh isn’t just about looking back. It’s also about what’s coming. We have new software on the way that we’re excited to release soon, built to help your business run better. We’ll be sharing more in the weeks ahead, and we can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working on.
Same river. Same commitment. A fresh look for the road ahead. Thank you for being part of the journey, and here’s to what comes next.
